Hi all,

The splicing feature has been working now.
You can use 229 now.

One important warning:
When upgrade the MSP, we should drop the current database if wearen’t sure whether there is change in the database.
I think some current issues about MSP are resulted by that.

Steps:
rvnPlatform.sh stop all
rvnPlatform.sh drop_confd
rvnPlatform.shreset_chassis

No, the issue is not stable, sometimes it is normally, sometimesthe packets is null data.

Two issues I have met this morning:
1.When I add a TSand map a program in the BCM, it will beno bitrate for the program (it’s a known issue), so that I have to remove theprogram mapping.
Butit will be timeout for remove andthe link between BCM and MSP will bedisconnected. We have to reboot MSP to restore.
It’sa reproducible issue.

2.When the link between BCM and MSP is disconnected, no response for‘show program-mapping-operational’ command.
AfterI abort the command,the service ‘mpce_cm_app_scm’ is stopped.

For the second issue, I’m not sure it can be reproduced and need to beverified.

I think we’d better to make it clear what issue the MSP has now.

Now several guys are operating the MSP at the same time and theMSP will be disconnected frequently.

But we don’t have any idea about it and have to reboot it againand again.

So Isuggest we have this issue clear first.
